CrossRoads Stable Horseback Day Camp is geared for children 8yrs and older and is all about horses and the barn yard experience. Your child will be taught horse safety along with grooming, saddling and riding skills. In addition to daily trail rides and lessons your child will be playing various horseback riding games. Your child will also enjoy other camp activities such as our hands on farm animal petting area along with our game room featuring air hockey, foosball, ping pong and board games. Also our 18' round by 4' deep pool. For safety and insurance purposes your child must be 48 inches and be 8 years old on or before the first day they attend camp. We will also be donating $5.00 from every camper enrolled in our day camps to their schools pta. Below is a slide show of horse day camp and below that is additional camp information.

Campers must be 52 inches and follow basic commands to ride the trails unless they have previous riding experience and/or pass a simple command test that we administer to them. If the camper isn't 52 inches or capable of passing our command test then they will have two lessons a day in the arena.

Fishing is not a daily activity but we will try and fish atleast once during the week unless the kids decide to pass on other activities.

Camp t-shirts are available for $10.00 each (t-shirt money and size must be sent in with camp deposit)

Campers should bring lunch, snack and at least two waters every day.

Campers should also bring bug spray, sun block, swimsuit, towel, pants and closed shoes for riding.(can wear shorts and sandals when not riding)

Send in your deposit and registration form early as we only accept 10 kids per week to Horseback day camp.

Remember if you want a camp t-shirt to add $10.00 and your childs shirt size with your camp deposit. Camp shirts are ordered before camp starts so you will get the size you order. No exceptions.
